I can’t click on a fashion blog without seeing fall capes. They are one of the hottest trends this season and for good reason. They are versatile and can be worn with pants or dresses. They are so easy to throw on and for me, I love the ease of being able to quickly take them off in the car. They keep you warm, but free up your arms, and you don’t have the bulk of a coat. It’s a nice way to ease into the winter wardrobe! Following are a collection of trendy capes found around the web.
The Burberry Checked Cape
I was attracted to this Burberry Cape on Elena Perminova as it had my initials EP on it. Harpar’s Bazaar calls it the official jacket of fall. They feature other celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Olivia Palermo also showcasing their monogramed initials on their Burberry Capes. What are your thoughts?
The Ralph Lauren Cape
Vogue featured Ralph Lauren’s wool and suede cape for fall.
Elegant Black Cape

Cabi’s Gigi Cape
I love the versatility of this Gigi Cape by Cabi. They show four clever ways to make a fashion statement with their fall cape.
Dress Up Your Cape with a Brooch
Divine Caroline’s Blog shares 10 Ways to Rock a Cape Coat this Season, my favorite being the addition of a brooch.
Via Spiga Asymmetrical Cape
I have always been a fan of black on black and love this black cape over slim black pants from Nordstroms.
