This week I’m doing Fashion Friday a day early, because I’ve joined five other Over 50 women to talk about fall fashion. I love being part of their group, because our styles are all so different.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not out and about like I was before Covid, which means, I’m not buying any new clothes. If you’ve followed me here on 1010ParkPlace then you know I buy quality over quantity, so my clothes last me forever.
This week I’m shopping my closet, mixing and matching things I already have.

If you read Brenda’s Blog then you know I sometimes write about my sweet girl, Annie. When Annie was only six weeks old I drove an hour south of here to meet her. She and her mom and seven siblings had been living on the street until they were rescued and placed with a foster family. I fell for Annie right away, but she looked at me for two seconds and then ran off to play with the chickens. Two weeks later I brought Annie home, and we’ve become best friends. That was two and a half years ago.
Annie has permanent eyeliner—a smoky eye—and a gorgeous reddish-brown coat. I’m so jealous.

I’m crazy about this umbra-colored, Vince midi skirt. It’s the second piece I’ve bought that I featured on one of my Fashion Friday posts. The first piece I bought was that beautiful Zara trench coat last month. Perhaps I should write about something like bowling shoes, because since I don’t bowl, I won’t be temped to buy the shoes.
When I bought this skirt I knew it could be the basis for lots of different outfits.
