On a recent trip to NYC, I enjoyed touring a condo project that my cousin is marketing. These gorgeous condos overlooked Central Park and were beautifully decorated!

We especially fell in love with one of them. The designer created a lacquered accent wall in the most gorgeous teal color. The wall looked like teal glass and was a showstopper! The rest of the room was decorated in beautiful neutral beiges and creams. Simply stunning!

Lacquered Walls Make a Statement

Do you have a wall or piece of furniture that you want to stand out? Peruse through this collection of lacquered rooms for inspiration.

First though, I want to apologize up front. Lacquered walls do not photograph well due to the high gloss. You can’t get around the reflection, especially with lights on and using a flash. My photo of the NYC condo was so bad, I couldn’t even share it here. I did find some pretty examples of what you can do with lacquered walls.

If a lacquered wall is too much for you, how about lacquering a piece of furniture? It’s amazing how a high gloss piece of furniture can jazz up a room.
